My name is Kenneth Chrisman, I have over 37 years of experience as a Certified Professional Engineer. My expertise spans the oil, gas, petrochemical, and refining industries. I spent 12 years at Chevron Pipeline in Houston as a Senior Hydraulics Engineer, where I developed and maintained hydraulic models, established pipeline and modeling standards, and provided support to control room and field operations.
Before that, I spent 17 years at Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. in Alaska, where I led critical projects, including developing a Cold Restart Contingency Plan, designing and installing a refinery desalter, and designing and installing a metering facility for crude oil supply to a refinery. Additionally, I played a key role in the annual reassessment of Alyeska’s leak detection systems, supported the control center by optimizing normal operations, assisting during shutdowns and restarts, and creating procedures for these activities. I also provided troubleshooting support as needed, particularly in assessing whether the pipeline had been over-pressured during upsets.
Early in my career, I worked as a project engineer at Frontier Refining and Mapco Refining, where I managed the design, construction, and startup of various refinery systems.
I am certified as a Professional Engineer in both Texas and Alaska.
I hold a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
